Membership

Join a community of professionals, researchers, and thoughtful citizens committed to psychological preparedness and responsible dialogue.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Psychological Alliance for Transparency and Humanity (PATH).

PATH is an interdisciplinary professional alliance established to prepare individuals, communities, and institutions for the potential psychological, social, ethical, and spiritual implications of future discoveries concerning non-human intelligence and other paradigm-changing events.

Our mission is not to promote any predetermined conclusion. Rather, PATH exists to encourage thoughtful scientific inquiry, compassionate dialogue, responsible public education, and psychological preparedness. We believe that history has repeatedly demonstrated that humanity adapts best to profound change when knowledge is accompanied by wisdom, and when science is guided by compassion.

Whether disclosure occurs tomorrow, decades from now, or not at all, the conversations surrounding these questions are already affecting individuals, families, clinicians, educators, and communities.

PATH exists to help society prepare thoughtfully rather than react fearfully.

PATH welcomes skeptics, believers, and those who remain undecided. Membership does not imply endorsement of any particular conclusion regarding non-human intelligence. Rather, it reflects a commitment to psychological preparedness, scientific integrity, compassionate public service, and responsible dialogue in the face of potentially paradigm-changing discoveries.

Whether disclosure occurs next year, decades from now, or never, the conversations we foster today strengthen our collective ability to respond thoughtfully to uncertainty, rapid change, and the deeply human questions that accompany them.
